Good on Purpose

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 20 July 2026

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Good on Purpose website (“Good on Purpose”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and the Organisational Health Check. Please read them carefully. By using our website or taking the health check, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The short version. Our website and health check are here to help. The report gives you general guidance based on your answers, not tailored professional advice, and using the site does not by itself make us your consultant. The content is ours, and we ask you to use the site fairly. Nothing here limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

About us

Good on Purpose is a consultancy based in Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand, working with charities and community organisations. You can reach us at hello@goodonpurpose.co.nz.

Using our website

You may use our website and health check for your own lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site, or introduce anything harmful to it
  • Copy, reproduce or republish our content except as allowed below

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.

The health check and your report

The Organisational Health Check is a self-assessment tool. Your report is generated from the answers you give, and it offers general guidance and suggestions across the eight areas we assess. It is intended to help you reflect and start useful conversations.

Your report is general in nature and is not a substitute for professional advice tailored to your specific circumstances. It does not take account of everything about your organisation, and you should not rely on it as the sole basis for any significant decision. Taking the health check, receiving a report, or having a first conversation with us does not create a consulting or advisory relationship, and does not make us responsible for decisions you make.

You are welcome to use and share your own report within your organisation and with your board.

Our consulting services

These Terms cover your use of the website and health check only. Any paid work we do together, such as a Full Review, a Signature Project or a Foundation Partner engagement, is governed by a separate written agreement between us that sets out the scope, responsibilities and terms of that work. Where that agreement and these Terms differ, the agreement applies to the paid work.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including the text, design, the Organisational Health Check, its questions, and the frameworks and materials we have created, belongs to Good on Purpose or is used by us with permission. It is protected by copyright and other rights.

You may view and, where relevant, download or print content for your own internal, non-commercial use, such as sharing your report with your board. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, sell or distribute our content without our written permission.

Third-party tools and links

Our website uses trusted third-party tools, such as the platform that hosts the health check and a scheduling tool to book conversations, and may link to other websites. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it to understand what we collect and how we look after it.

Disclaimers

We provide our website and the health check with reasonable care, but “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of anything harmful, and we make no guarantee that the content or your report will be complete, accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term implied or imposed by law, that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Good on Purpose will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of our website or health check, or from any reliance on your report. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our total liability to you in connection with the website and health check is limited to resupplying the relevant service or content.

Where you acquire our services in trade, the parties agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, to the extent the law allows that agreement.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above, and the current version will always be available on our website. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
