Ways To Work | Good on Purpose

The Organisational Review

The whole picture, then a plan you can run.

Understand what's working, where the pressure is building and what needs attention first. Leave with three clear priorities, named owners and a practical 90-day plan.

We look across all eight areas, drawing on your documents and conversations with your leadership team and board. The free Health Check gives you a starting picture; the Review builds on it with evidence and clear recommendations.

How it works

Four steps to a clearer way forward.

Typically around two weeks. Larger organisations take longer, and we agree the timetable before we start.

01

Read

We review your existing documents to understand the organisation and make the most of our time with your people.

02

Listen

We speak with your chief executive, leadership team and board to understand their perspectives and what sits behind them. Allow around two to three hours of your time each week.

03

Assess

We score all eight areas using the documents and conversations, identifying strengths, pressures and risks.

04

Plan

We bring the findings together, work through the priorities with you and set out a practical 90-day plan.

What you leave with

A clear picture and the tools to move forward.

1

An eight-area assessment

A scored picture of your organisation, supported by documents and conversations.

2

The strengths worth protecting

What is working well and should be carried into your next season.

3

A clear account of the risks

The material issues that need attention, why they matter and what could happen if they go unresolved.

4

Three agreed priorities

A focused set of priorities, each with a named owner.

5

A practical 90-day plan

What needs to happen, who is responsible, when it needs to happen and the resources required.

6

A board-ready summary

A concise paper and findings presentation to support clear decisions and track progress.

Is this you?

A good fit if...

Funding uncertainty makes it hard to plan beyond the next grant or contract.

Your strategy is on paper, but day-to-day demands keep taking priority.

Too many decisions run through you, and the workload is becoming hard to sustain.

Your organisation has grown, but the systems haven't kept up.

You know the work makes a difference, but showing that clearly to funders is difficult.

Your board and management team have different views on what needs attention first.

The practical bits

Priced for the for-purpose sector.

Every engagement is sized to your organisation. When budget is tight, we shape the scope to fit, so the work we agree to do is done properly. The Health Check and your first half-hour conversation are always free.

What it costs

From $5,000

Typical Reviews range from $8,000 to $15,000, depending on your organisation's size and the ground to cover. A reduced-scope Community Review is available for smaller grassroots organisations. You'll receive a clear scope and fixed price before we begin. Prices exclude GST, travel and significant third-party costs.

Our payment guarantee

Half to start. Half when the priorities are agreed.

Pay half upfront. The remaining half is due only when your board approves the three priorities. If agreement isn't reached at the presentation, we run one additional session at no extra cost. If the priorities still aren't approved, you don't pay the remaining half. To qualify, your chief executive and board members must attend their interviews and the presentation.

Your next project

20% off

If the Review identifies a priority that needs further work and you'd like our help, you'll receive 20% off your next project with us. The project must be agreed within 60 days of your findings presentation. Excludes ongoing support.

After the Review

Take the plan forward with the support you need.

You can put the plan into action with your own team. If you'd like help, we can stay involved in two ways.

Fixed scope, fixed price

Signature Projects

Focused support to put one priority into practice. A Sprint builds one practical system over a few weeks: a strategy on a page, a funding model, a risk register or a board framework. A 90-Day Reset works through a larger area of change. Each project leaves you with working systems and the confidence to use them.

Priced to the agreed scope. Fixed fee confirmed before work begins.

Ongoing support

Foundation Partner

Senior support alongside your chief executive. A regular space to think, test decisions and work through the issues that keep coming back, while keeping your priorities moving.

Support and fees agreed upfront.
